Nik Salanitro, the verified host of The MrFitnik Show, checked in at Jackson, New Jersey on the eve of Election Day with a video stamped "Fight for Jackson" and a caption telling the township its citizens are "under attack" and to "go vote dummies."

He did not say who was attacking. His commenters filled in the blank.

What the comments said

By Election Day morning the thread had moved past zoning and development and into who should be allowed to live in Jackson at all.

  • "Deport ALL Hasidim." Posted about two hours before we captured the page.

  • "hasdic communities need to be moved out." Posted 37 minutes before capture.

  • "They are a virus they destroy everything they touch."

  • "This jews are like cults in Jackson and Howell NJ."

  • "The number one employer of illegals are the Jews. Go to any newJewish development, 95% illegals." No source was offered for the figure, because there isn't one.

  • "Lakewood is the new Israel."

One commenter pushed back, telling another he was "a Jew hater not a good citizen" and asking why anyone would fear "G-d loving people who have zero crime." That was the only dissent visible on the page.

What the author liked

Salanitro did not reply to the deportation or "virus" comments. He did put his author's like on a comment urging people to "listen to Nik Salanitro," who, the commenter wrote, knows what is going on "with the Hasdic communities moving into Jackson and Manchester and Toms River and Lakehurst."

So the host's own engagement on the thread lands on the comment that names Hasidic families moving in as the problem. The removal calls stayed up.

What Facebook did, and didn't

Facebook's filter hid several comments under a "Hidden by Facebook" fold, including a screenshot listing Orthodox donors to a local PAC by name and dollar amount. The "Deport ALL Hasidim" and "virus" comments were not hidden when we captured the thread.

Why it matters today

Jackson has spent years in a fight over land use, religious zoning and a federal civil rights case. Debating development is legitimate. What sits under Salanitro's post is not that debate. It is a verified creator with a following framing a town as "under attack" on the morning people vote, and a comment section that answers with deportation and disease.

We want to understand the hate, not hand anyone a target. That is why the commenters are not named here. The post, and what its author chose to like, are his.
